Rani Laxmi Bai Udyog Prashikshan Sanstha Pune and Pune Municipal Corporation are in a Joint Venture and has started this training Institute since 2004. The aim of our institute is to promote Self-Employment to the unemployed & talented youth and ladies.
We give training to students whose family income is below, One Lakh Per annum (1,00,000/- p.a). The Institute is basically a social outfit to give professional training to deprived people in the society. We educate self-helping groups in order to have self-reliance in their activities.
What Do We Do?
After the 74th Constitutional Amendment, it is mandatory for local self-government to work with NGO’s and strengthen ladies and youth population in particular. Not only we give free training to the concerns, but also try to create employment opportunities to the passed-out students in various sectors & industries.
Under our training programs at Rani Laxmi Bai Udyog Prashikshan Sanstha Pune, we run various technical and skill courses like MS-CIT, C, C++, Tally, DTP, Web Designing, Computer Typing, Hardware Support, Advance Excel, Java, Computer Basic, Spoken English, Basic Stitching, Beauty Parlour, Fashion Designing, Leather Purse Making, Cooking, Catering, etc.
Some Facts About Us!
About 20,517+ (Twenty Thousand, Five Hundred & Seventeen) students have been so far trained from the institute. After Completion of the course, if an individual aspires to start his/her own business, Pune Municipal Corporation provides, ₹10,000/- as a subsidy and as a financial assistance to encourage the Start-Up.
At Rani Laxmi Bai Udyog Prashikshan Sanstha Pune, every year we conduct Free Blood Donation Camps, Tree Plantation Drives, Counselling and Employment Generation Programs for Unemployed youth and ladies. Our Institute has created separate cell to resolve family disputes and give justice to domestic violence. In this 2 years of pandemic we created awareness amongst people to get vaccinated. In the first wave of COVID-19 we distributed Masks, Sanitizers, Food & Grain kits to the needy.
Our Objectives!
Our name comes from the Great Indian Queen, Rani Lakshmi Bai which shows our fighting spirit. The trainings are conducted by the organization from past 18 years as part of the social contribution to society and a small initiative towards the change we aspire to bring in the society.
The work of making ordinary women strong, for the fight for survival in life is done through the organization. We feel that if a woman and student are educated with the ideals of Mahatma Phule and Savitribai Phule in mind, then the whole family is well educated.
